Anne Gallagher was born & brought up in the South Wales seaside town of Porthcawl. A 'nipper' lifeguard from the age of 10 & a surfer by 15 Anne developed a deep respect & love of the sea which has impacted heavily on every life choice she has made.

After graduating from Aberystwyth University in 2004 with a degree in Geography & Film Anne went on to make her first award winning film, The Amadis Project, on the coral reefs of the West Indies.

Anne continues to surf everyday there's waves & works freelance in both the media production & outdoor pursuits industry.
